about

I kind of criticize a lot of people with these lyrics. Just so you know, I don't mean to offend anyone here - I'm just expressing a concern I have had for quite some time.

lyrics

Lyrics in Norwegian:

(Rom 2.1 - 2.3:)

(Refreng, to ganger:)
Menneskets stahet
Allmenn kunskapsløshet
Menneskets råskap
Åh, sjelelige fattigdom

Men hei, du kan jo åpne dæ opp,
og ta en liten titt rundt dæ
Her fins det mye verdifullt
som du kan ta lærdom av
Stol på at innsikt gir styrke

(Refreng)

Lyrics in English:

(Rom 2.1 - 2.3:)
"You, therefore, have no excuse,
you who pass judgment on someone else, whoever you are,
for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself.
Because you who pass judgment do the same things.
Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.

So when you, a mere human being,
pass judgment on them
and yet do the same things,
do you think you will escape God’s judgment?"

God’s earthly demons came to us
They took everything away with their flames and swords
They raided, ravaged and demeaned us
From us was taken away the dignity

The Godless ones combat all their descendants
Now they fight back, they want their home returned
They mirror their enemy, fight the fire with fire
To make everyone suffer under the idiots' brutality

These poor men
All shall burn

(Chorus, played twice:)
The stubbornness of man
General lack of knowledge
The brutality of man
Oh, mental poverty

But hey, you could just open up,
and have a look around you
There are lots of valuable things here
that you could learn from
Trust that insight gives strength
even if you lack respect
Right now you are your own greatest burden
Let the darkest demons give the brightest effect

God’s earthly demons came to us
They took it all, but look at what they gave in return!

(Chorus)

about

Blix Nordland, Norway

Andreas Blix Jacobsen, the man behind the solo project "Blix", is a strange man.

I like to express myself using the piano, my guitars or my voice - most of the time all of the above! I prefer creating extreme metal in one way or another, but every now and then a ballad or instrumental piece might sneak in. ... more
